Physical device installation
Instead of dedicating productive internal staff to simple equipment unpacking and placement chores, our onsite technicians can:
- Accept delivery of your equipment at our procurement center
- Enter it into our asset tracking system
- Delivery them to your specified locations
- Place it in your cabinet, rack, shelf, cage or desk and cubicles
- Dispose of any packing materials
The service is performed at a fixed cost per device, making it both practical and affordable.
Standard installation
HiQ can configure and test the equipment, and install and test your network connections. By having HiQ handle installation, your personnel can focus on application and content loading and configuration, avoiding the need for onsite support, if they so desire.
Operating system and software installation (imaging)
HiQ can install a consistent, tested and hardened version of your selected operating system using a highly efficient, automated process to help you achieve a more stable platform. Each software build includes:
- A base operating system
- Your application software
- The latest fixes and security patches to keep the configurations current with industry standards
Once the build is tested for basic startup and connectivity, administrative access is turned over to you for ongoing management. HiQ also provides standard imaging duplication service to help deploy standard image onto large number of units at once.
Total Client Administrative Support
When time and skills are in short supply, our standard managed support service allows you to delegate routine management of your servers via VPN or onsite service. This enables your personnel to focus on resolving complex issues and developing new applications. The service includes initial system configuration, day-to-day system administration and server and workstation support. HiQ assumes a proactive role in responding to any alerts. Total Client Support is available in different tiers, so you can select the level of assistance that best matches your in-house skill and resource needs.
